Trying to keep it short...

Saturday Bob and I went on a road trip to Jacksboro - about two hours away. There is an antique rose "plantation", great selection and the owner is a keener. His cat's name is Compost. The day was perfect - a touch chilly in the wind but sunny and we enjoyed the scenery.

Yesterday, we took Mom out for lunch. Afterwards, Bob and I bought a lawn mower. While I went back to Mom's place to clean, he stayed home, put the mower together (3 times) and planted the roses we bought. I think the front will look great when everything gets going.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with both trying to catch up from the wedding and trying to help with the cleanup at Mom's house at the same time. Saturday was a great break, but I wish I could take a week off to do living-type work.
