Thing-a-day is approaching once again, and I can hardly wait!
I need a list of projects to work on, so here are what I've come up with so far:
Replacement for our "recycling box"*
Reinforce and decorate magazine boxes (Bob calls these Pam boxes)**
Amigurami Bunny for Mom
Placemats made from felted knit.
Valentines***
Soaps for SIL.
Hand-dyed cotton yarn****
Batik shirt
Amigurumi steampunk couple?
Attempt at etching brass?
Steampunk scrimshaw
"Cheeselover" t-shirt for Bob
Plaster cast of neck for necklace display.
To buy:
Foam board
Yard o' books from Half-price
More dyeable yarn
* - A smaller box that we keep inside so that we can leave the big ugly one outside.
** - I need a lot of these, so this should cover several days
*** - Must do first! I wonder where I can get good quotes to use.
**** - Suggestions for color combinations very, very welcome. Right now, the only ideas I have are "cole slaw" (light mint green on cream with purple speckles) and maybe valentines (pink/red/white), or just grab a couple of dyes from my stash.
