If a man walks through the worst part of town wearing diamonds and flashing money, you still aren't going to hear the words "he asked for it" in court.

If a man regularly gives money to charities and homeless people, it won't be brought up in court if he was mugged.

But the underlying logic of both of these scenarios is used regularly to devalue a woman's right to choose what happens to her body in rape cases.
