Fun with CPAP:
Sep. 2nd, 2008 05:33 pmI've had the CPAP for about a week now, and the biggest problem I've run into is controlling the humidity. If I turn the humidifier down, I wake up in the middle of the night with my mouth so dry my tongue has little sand dunes forming. If I turn the humidifier up any, the moisture condenses in the air hose, and eventually gets deep enough to actually block the air, which then goes *bloop*. Which wakes me up in the middle of the night.
Since the problem is that the air is cooling down too much in the air hose, I've come up with a solution. I'm crocheting a cpap hose cozy.
The second biggest problem is that it is much harder to snuggle up to my sweetie. :-(
