Nov. 7th, 2005 04:59 pmIt is not fair to be sick on the weekend and well by Monday.
Amira was allowed to have full run of the house all night long. Since she didn't wake us up, it's permanent. She's having a great time running all over the house, trying to get Mom or Dad or Shilla or Moody to play chase, wrestling with the other cats, etc. Shilla and Moody aren't having as much fun. Poor kitties *snicker*
When I woke up this morning, Amira gave me this "Pet me, I haven't been petted for days" look, and purred loud enough to wake Bob when I picked her up. Awwww. Mind you, she wanted down two minutes later.
Mom got jealous of my new kitten, so she got one herself. She has an all-black full-grown cat, but he's not terribly lovey, and she wanted a sweet kitty. She was at PetSmart last Thursday and found a really cute female kitten - a tabby but with spots on her sides instead stripes. Just for grins, I googled "cat spots" and found that she has a Bengal kitten. She's still in the big round eyes phase and is just absolutely adorable. She's also in the two-speed phase - limp & full throttle. This cat is going to be magnificent when she is full grown.
