When I get really, really tired, I start hearing little electrical sounding zzzzzzzts randomly. This is my signal to go-to-sleep-right-now-dammit-I-don't-care-if-it's-light-outside. Does this happen to anyone else?

Friday night I zonked out early.

Saturday, we putzed around the house during the day. Then we went to a birthday party for cyndtechgoddess, stevyn and nadalia. The party was hosted by waterlilly in her beautiful house, while badcat42077 and dracphelan brought over gumbo and rum cake, both of which were just nummy. I'm hoping Bob got the recipe for both. There were many other old friends over there and we made some new ones as well. It was a lovely party with intelligent, funny and often silly conversation, and that was the best part of all.

Yesterday Bob and I pulled up all the carpet in the MIL room and banging the nails out of the trim that we had pulled yesterday. We also bought the supplies we need to patch the walls before painting. I'm threatening to spray paint "Bob + Briana = 4ever" on the slab. Or I suppose I could paint the Declaration of Independence.

We also discussed furniture layout. I'm excited about all of this - it looks like this will turn out to be both cool and quite possibly be usable for dancing when we're through.

I can't figure out how to convey excitement without sounding like a 16-year old girl.

I finished HP last night. Today I went through all the metaquotes back to when the book came out. Up next is checking on my friends lists for the spoilers posts that I had to pass over.
